Head office staff
Jennifer MacKenzie, co-founder, sales and administration: "I have taught in Greece and France and am still working in TEFL, but now I'm in my favourite country in the world."
Joe Hallwood, training and course development: "After teaching abroad and in the UK, I have spent years developing and delivering TEFL training courses in the UK, Ireland and the USA. It's great (unbelievable) to actually settle down and still be in TEFL and it's fantastic to be able to offer TEFL training in the way I have always wanted to."
Alison Kelly, TEFL Advisor, customer service and sales, is your first port of call for any questions about TEFL courses and TEFL jobs. Coming to TEFL from the travel industry, her time working in an animal refuge in Bolivia made her a friend to baby monkeys everywhere.
Originally from Sunnny South Africa, TEFL Advisor Noula Kranidiotis handles customer service and sales. She comes to TEFL from the travel industry, having worked for South African Airways as a flight attendant and loves anything to do with the outdoors, adventure and travel."
TEFL Advisor Sally Banks, capably handles administration and finance, drawing on a wealth of experience in the travel, motor and hotel trades. Heavily involved in local charities, she is a Soroptomist as well as secretary and treasurer for the Friends association of a local care home. In her spare time, Sally enjoys gardening and dance and currently enjoys the international flavour of Zumba!
Dani Gear, administration and sales, sends out all the letters and brochures that get popped through your letterbox as well as dealing with bookings and various other vital admin things. She'll be sorely missed when she leaves to study to be a paramedic at Plymouth University!
Tea enthusiast, Erin MacKenzie, deals with operations, marketing and PR and any other tasks Joe puts her up to. Erin has aspirations to teach in South Korea one day.
Flora Pennington, marketing and general administration, helps out with advertising and promotion for the website. Flora is currently teaching English in Vietnam, so we look forward to hearing her tales when she returns.
Holly Bannerman is our Online Marketing Assistant. She is responsible for updating the website with the latest jobs and blog articles and making partnerships with other websites. A keen and talented hockey player, dealing with the crazy marketing team at TEFL Towers has inspired her to apply for university degrees in management.
Kiva Richard, administrator and TEFL Advisor, is our mistress of the mail room, making sure everything from certificates to course books gets to you safe and sound. For the rest of the time, she is regularly found answering the main e-mails, so don’t hesitate to drop her a line if you have any questions.
